Hey y’all, it’s Krista.

I am sooooo tired so if this blog doesn’t make sense, it’s because I am delusional.  Ok, so the first couple of days here at camp have been amazing.  The sermons keep getting better and better every night.  The pastor is very blunt, so there are no questions as to what he means. One of our girls accepted Christ tonight which is awesome!  A lot of us have made important realizations in our lives and are ready to start living head on for Christ.

Tonight, the pastor told us our main role in this life....to know Christ and make Him known.  At first, this sounds fairly simple and irrelevant, when honestly it is the most life-changing decision you can ever make.  He closed his sermon with an analogy of the deleted scenes found in the special features segment of a DVD.  The movie is God’s story...the story of creation and His Son and His Conquering of all evil.  We as Christians fit into this story as well.  However, we do not want to find ourselves on the deleted scenes, meaning our lives were not lived out to their full potential of making Him known to the world.  How amazing it is that it takes such a strange analogy to make such a strong impact.

I ask that you continue to pray for us as we finish out camp and head home.  Especially when we get home and are challenged with the truth of the everyday world, your prayers will become more and more vital.

Tomorrow is Mega Relay.... the Michael Jordan of all recreation events.  We are all getting pumped and competitive for it.  Um, so ya that’s all my wore out brain can squeeze out right now, but I really want to thank you for all you have done to help get us here.
