Music Ministry

Adult Sanctuary Choir

Our ministry goal is to lead others to an exciting and personal relationship with Jesus Christ through music and testimony.

Music Style

Because of the diverse characteristics and profile of FBC, Olney, we try to experience worship through traditional, gospel and contemporary music using both our talented instrumentalists and pre-recorded accompaniment tracks. A wide variety of hymns and choruses are used in our weekly services with an equally diverse choice of choir anthems.

Rehearsals

We meet on Wednesdays at 7:35 pm in the sanctuary. Our rehearsal time is spent previewing and learning new music as well as rehearsing for the upcoming worship service. Four to five songs are reviewed each week with additional time spent for fellowship and prayer concerns.

How to Join

We are open to all adults who wish to join the choir, as we never have tryouts or auditions to sing. We encourage anyone with the desire to sing for God's glory to come join us in a ministry opportunity filled with joy and excitement.
